Rock n Road

Jersey’s all new running hub, ‘Rock n Road’. The brief; to create a brand identity that was friendly, inclusive, and would help bring a whole running community together.

With an already large and growing running community in the Island, Jersey has been desperate for a commercial enterprise that could fulfil the needs of  running athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike.

Enter ‘Rock n Road’, offering solid advice on training from your next 5K or off-road ultra, customers are also able to drop-in for a gait analysis to determine which footwear is best suited to them, or just visit for a friendly chat and a cup of coffee.

Following the creative brief from the Rock n Road team, we started to construct a brand identity that would fit their core vision and values.

Wanting to appear established, fun and approachable we created a logo a running community could rally around. The Rock n Road badge – a simple but aesthetically pleasing oval shape featuring a road running off into a set of hills and a rising sun. A full set of icons were also produced, including the three main running areas – Road, Track and Trail.
