Challenge
We were approached by the Leica Geosystems marketing team to produce a 3-5 minute video documenting a project that they had arranged with a local Jersey historical organisation.
The video would serve as a case study promoting their Laser-scanning devices (the new BLK360 in particular) and showcase some of the use-cases for their world-leading optics equipment.
Our Approach
Drone Videography
Whilst the Leica marketing team had initially requested just a single run-and-gun videographer, we recognised that the inclusion of some drone photography would enhance the project. Drone photography and videography can help projects stand out through the inclusion of perspectives and shots that are impossible to achieve in standard video projects.
Given the focus on local historical landmarks, the use of the drone was a no-brainer, as it helps to establish each location, and show them off in their full magnificence.
