Echoing their slogan, Snap’s objective was to reshape people’s perception of recruitment companies, emphasising Excel’s dedication to building meaningful connections with candidates and prioritising relationships over commissions. This entailed revisiting the brand identity and implementing strategies to engage effectively with both candidates and clients.
With the brand revitalisation project complete we built out a set of assets to be placed on their website and provided copy, to ensure continuity across key digital channels.

To ensure Excel stood out in the competitive recruitment landscape, we focused on breathing new life into its brand identity. We refined the logo, creating a cleaner and more balanced version. Drawing inspiration from the logo’s elements, we crafted playful patterns that added visual interest to the brand.
Additionally, we introduced a brighter colour scheme to infuse excitement into the brand, positioning it as a dynamic agency. The imagery direction was adjusted to spotlight candidates, highlighting their importance to Excel’s approach to recruitment.
To enhance engagement and cultivate a more approachable image, we introduced a friendly mascot to feature in Excel’s register campaign, aiming at enticing potential candidates to join Excel’s network. This mascot not only effectively showcased Excel’s enticing sign-on bonus but also played a key role in differentiating the brand from competitors.
As part of our strategy to set Excel apart, we wanted to offer a glimpse into Excel’s company culture. To achieve this, we crafted a promotional video featuring an interview with the directors. This platform allowed them to authentically share their personal stories, forging deeper connections with potential candidates and clients. As a result, viewers can gain an insight into the passion for recruitment driving Excel’s leadership team, as well as their commitment to the company’s core values.
