Four years in the making

Woah! Four years have flown by.

As we graciously, but fearlessly enter our 5th year of Snap we look back at a period like no other.

Before we begin, what kind of reflection blog post would this be without an obligatory mention of a rocky year and a half with C-19 in the world?! Well, on a human level our team had three separate cases (Fortunately, everyone has fully recovered), various isolation periods and gallons of hand sanitiser. On a business level, it was pretty frightening, however, we appreciate our position as a company that can operate in the digital space. We’ve managed to see out the worst of a global pandemic while continuing to grow. It’s shaped our process, it’s forced our hand on occasions but overall it’s amalgamated our team and our collective vision.

New Snappers

Starting as a team of two four years ago, with a focus on design and marketing services. Today, we are pleased to welcome the following new members of the team:

Luc Pallot – Lead Designer

Coming in with a wealth of experience in brand design, Luc’s addition to the team has brought a sharp eye and creative flair.

Charlie Burgis – Developer

WordPress & Front End Wizard. Charlie is here to maximise our development team’s output and deliver unique and polished digital products.

Martin Perkins – Head of Video

Snap acquires Tinkins Video. Our latest recruit has been honing his craft as a freelancer before joining our team on a permanent basis. We’re excited to offer video as an in-house service to clients and we’ll be sharing more information on Snap Video very soon. In the meantime, welcome aboard Martin!

Client Brand & Product Launches

Here’s a few projects that we launched with our clients:

The Good Brow Club

Rock n Road

Roaming Soundtrack

Map of Wonders

5 Mile Lager

Club NED

The Training Room

Channel Eye Media

Your favourite local media outlet, bringing you business & lifestyle news from across the channel islands.

In 2020 we launched the News platform with a fresh identity, user-friendly website and a precise strategy. Keep your eyes peeled for a full project page soon!

Levelling Up

As our client base has expanded, so too has our offering. There is much more to us than simple brochure websites. While we are pretty damn good at that too, we also offer bespoke, complex web portals and mobile applications.

Check out this promotional video we produced for the platform & mobile app that’s saving our clients… and their clients time and money! Syner-G.

Looking Forward

We’re proud to look back on where we’ve been, especially the support everyone on the team has given to each other, the studio, and our clients in the past 4 years. It’s not always been an easy ride, but it’s been made a whole load better because of the team we’ve assembled.

So, let’s celebrate at a distance and reconvene for the 5th Birthday. Here’s to another year of Snap.

Sam & the team
